That penalty call gets funnier every time you see it.

Their goals definitely gets VAR checked in the Prem.
Bycroft very close to having his hands on it I think.

I was worried when we made all of the giant signings that we had turned into Sutton of last year. I’m even more worried now.

Still, in the words of Yazz and the Plastic Population - The only way is up!

I'm not sure Clarke and Oforborh are playing the same position though, Clarke seems much closer to Cotterill. Maybe it's just him being more mobile, but it's almost like a DM CM AM midfield.

I think it's my point about Ofoborh.  He's not made for it, he's getting cut adrift.  I wouldn't want to try and beat him one on one in the middle, but he is a lost oil tanker beyond that.

Well, that was different tactically to last season! Not much quality on display, lots of heavy touches, got caught in possession a lot as well.

Chesterfield have looked fairly capable and neat at times. They have pressed us quite well and we have not done anything (yet) to change that. Making us look a man light in central midfield. But given our hoof tactics I wouldn’t bother being there either.

We look okay out wide, lacking quality in the crossing though. Doubt we moved the xG needle much. Confident we have already witnessed our worst attacking free kick of the season already as well.

Wright Hall and Freck as a combo are potentially better than any 3 we had last season I think. Keeper is brilliant one minute and sloppy the next. Clarke neat and tidy ,the other 2 well off it. Smith is doing well with the little he's getting and Longelo is our best outlet. Drinan and King should be off for Glatzel and Sob and id prefer Cain or Mitchell to Cotterill in this game at least. Can't agree about Chesterfield, apart from Banks and the games outstanding player so far,Dobra I don't think they're great so far.

Total eff up at local pub as they have Sky but not the latest set-up so cannot get the Towns game so watching it on my iPhone which keeps buffering due to the internet! What I have seen certainly doesn’t fill me with early season optimism, heaven only knows how we are supposed to be set up and playing as nothing is working. Ever onwards I suppose.

Thought Clarke would get booked then for calling the linesman a ‘silly cu next Tuesday’

It's looking better, so shouldn't be too long until Chesterfield double their lead

Tbf, it's the closest he has got to the ball with his feet all evening
