The only colour of football shirt more boring & plain than a red one.

At least it means we’ll have to bring out a third kit (which we now do every year anyway regardless of whether we’d actually need it)

I know it's a bog standard adidas kit and what not but I thought it looked really nice in the game v Supermarine. The gold is a nice touch as a tertiary colour, makes sense too as it's on the badge, and gives us that tiny bit of something unique as can't think of many other teams in red, white and gold.

Yep, I think it looks great and I'm really pleased they've gone back to white shorts...

IMO it looks a lot better as a full kit v just the shirt.

Was extremely unlikely to  buy it anyway so don't really care as such

I look forward to a good chunk of fans buying and wearing the full kit in the DRS, that will look terrific. Socks and shinpads boys!

Holloway said at the kit launch on Friday that he’d asked for white shorts, it was popular with those in attendance (based on the cheers).

I would take that with a pinch of salt, the kit template is ordered around Aug/Sept time, so before Holloway would have been here..

The gold flash on the shorts would have looked horrible on red, that is more likely the reason..

He just loves the sounds of his own voice and people will lap that sort of thing up

They'll be providing both red and white shorts anyway as we'll wear all red away when we play a team that wears blue shirts white shorts, etc. So it wouldn't take much just to say which you prefer to be the primary choice.

You are probably right, unless the away kit shorts aren't white.
