I'm firmly in the white camp. That's our traditional kit as far as I'm concerned... I like both kits and can't get too excited over the fact that that the deal has been done with Pro Direct rather than Adidas directly. We're Swindon Town not Bayern fucking Munich...what does it matter? I've never been bothered by the 'generic template' thing either. We're only going to be wearing it for one season and once it has our players names on it, our sponsors and our badge (iron on, stick on, sew on or whatever) that will be individual enough for me. I kind of think black shorts for away would have been nice. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: OOH! Yes, white shorts for home, black/dark shorts for the away kit which is pretty pale anyway to start with...I agree i prefer white home, especially with a basic shirt. I kind of think black shorts for away would have been nice. Not that it really matters for just one season... Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: iParadise on Friday, July 5, 2024, 14:23:12 Away kit gets a big thumbs up from me 👍

I think the away will look smart assuming all the numbers/names will be black font (must be right?) Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: theakston2k on Friday, July 5, 2024, 14:35:56 Better than last seasons home kit. At least with them being basic templates this time there’s never going to a shortage of stock you’d hope.
Edit: I see there’s going to be a price increase compared to last season, that’s a bit shameful for a templated shirt. Edit: I see there’s going to be a price increase compared to last season, that’s a bit shameful for a templated shirt. You do love a moan don’t you? Most the adidas kits we’ve had have been templated…. As are most of the kits in the EFL. The price won’t be any more than other fans are paying. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Nemo on Friday, July 5, 2024, 14:52:39 Looks nice, if a weirdly baggy collar. It'll do.
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: theakston2k on Friday, July 5, 2024, 14:58:09 You do love a moan don’t you? But I don’t get how it’s going to cost more for a templated kit versus the personalised ones of the past few seasons so it’ll just mean an even bigger profit margin. Most the adidas kits we’ve had have been templated…. As are most of the kits in the EFL. The price won’t be any more than other fans are paying. Obviously if you don’t want to pay then don’t buy one but overpriced football shirts are big news at the moment so it would be nice for a club to make a stand against this trend. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Riddick on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:00:08 But I don’t get how it’s going to cost more for a templated kit versus the personalised ones of the past few seasons so it’ll just mean an even bigger profit margin. Obviously if you don’t want to pay then don’t buy one but overpriced football shirts are big news at the moment so it would be nice for a club to make a stand against this trend. The overpriced shirt discourse is around kits that are sold with a performance variety at £125 and a fan variant at £85. Our kits will not be close to that price! Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Bob's Orange on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:03:51 Football shirt pricing in general is ludicrous.

Obviously if you don’t want to pay then don’t buy one but overpriced football shirts are big news at the moment so it would be nice for a club to make a stand against this trend. All kits now a days, rightly or wrongly, are overpriced. Whether they’re templated or not. I just don’t think it’s fair to use it as another stick to hit the club with. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Riddick on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:08:13 You buy a kit to support the club. I don't see the need for top clubs to charge £100, but lower league clubs need all the help they can get.
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: tans on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:41:23 Same kit Crawley and Salford had last season i think
You can buy the plain shirt on sports direct for £6 Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: tans on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:44:05 £55 for the new shirt on preorder
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Riddick on Friday, July 5, 2024, 15:52:15 Same kit Crawley and Salford had last season i think You can buy the plain shirt on sports direct for £6 Honestly will take having the same template over that stupid roundabout pattern someone put on the shirts this year! Its the iron on shite badges that peel off over time that annoys me. These are high priced items, it shouldn't be the way. Fucking DGI was better than that. A Crawley and away and Salford home from last few seasons I see a lot are joking about on twitter. Someone has mocked up a Bradford shirt as our third.
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: 4D on Friday, July 5, 2024, 19:18:07 Do people really care that much? It's just a football shirt :hmmm:
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Friday, July 5, 2024, 19:18:56 I don't. Only so many templates aren't there with this type of deal. Bound to repeat them.

As long as they dont fuck around too much with the colours then I dont really care.Title: Re: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Batch on Saturday, July 6, 2024, 10:27:55 is this it? Yeah. Have ordered the same shirt and a STFC patch for less than half the price. Not arsed about having MiPermit plastered across the front. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Ƭ̵̬̊: The Artist Formerly Known as CWIG on Sunday, July 7, 2024, 10:42:48 Wimbledon have a custom Umbro deal and seem to be the envy of the league as far as kits go.

Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Lambo75 on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 10:13:43 Anyone know if pre ordered kits can be picked up from the shop yet?
Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: dphunt88 on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 10:32:55 Anyone know if pre ordered kits can be picked up from the shop yet? I popped into club shop on Tuesday to pick up season ticket cards for the little ones, and the shop is nearly stripped bare. Very much in the throes of being revamped ready for the new kit to arrive soon... so, not ready yet, no. Title: Re: Home and away kits released Post by: Lambo75 on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 10:40:48 Thanks, will pop down tomorrow, would like ahead of the weekend game.
