Gunning definitely wins the “least shit” award for our recent managers but he’s doing very little that instills confidence that he’s the man to take us forward next season.

If you want to take solace from the extremely low bar that his football is slightly better than Flynn’s then that’s fine as it’s also true.

McGurk and Glatzel will be very effective when on the same wavelength.

Gunning:
- Performance wasn't very good. Flat
- Maybe Tuesday and the poor pitch took it out of us
- Ball speed to slow. We were inbetween. We didn't know what to do. It was horrible to watch
- Gave away a bad goal, then came alive
- Pleased that we have got to a point where we are disappointed with a draw against Harrogate at home
- It wasn't one of Gunning's favourite games to watch
- Didn't want to lose at the end
- There was a penalty shout missed at the end
- It is what it is
- Changed things round with RHM and Glatzel. They were fatigued and sore so couldnt start
- Today the subs were angry subs. Frustration
- McKirdy was always coming off at half time
- Aguilar did ok to be fair. Any of the others could have come off
- Minturn: Out for the season. Hip area muscle injury
- That's two young defenders out for the season. Frustrating as we would want to see whether they can do it for next year
- How to you get consistency for the rest of the year? (Hawes): What do you mean? We have had consistency! (Gunning taking exception to the question)

Rancid.

Disillusioned beyond care now , didn't even celebrate the equaliser.

STH and not sure I want to go back again this term.

Gunning is not wrong about being consistent, we have drawn 4 of 8 games and keep trotting out meandering performances.  It's better than the last days of Flynn, but 2 wins in 8 is about in line with the results achieved across the season, very consistent.  Consistently poor, for what we should expect.

I know Gunning has his followers but I would prefer a clean sweep for next season.

this is where we are currently . Nothing to look forward to other than the Milton Keynes class of 24 -25 . Hopefully they will have some gems for us to break into the top half next season .

Our full backs are cursed to the point where even playing there for 45 minutes puts you out for the season. Seems to the cost of UGM being bulletproof.

I know others disagree but I didn't enjoy the first half. Doesn't help sitting in the Town End when we are attacking at the other end

Thought we were sloppy, didn't really see what we were trying to do and a couple of bits of quality didn't make that.

Second half was marginally better after Harrogate scored. We had to go for it a bit more but we did play some slow crab football at times still.

Ultimately though, it matters not. Dead rubbers all round

That was so dull.

Nothing on or off the pitch, extremely flat.

I reckon the players are better than the managers tactics at the moment
