Maybe that explains the contract extension, a sweetener to not criticise the owner for not backing him properly?
Well that is pretty much the rumour of why it was done. That and for him to secure a bigger payout if the club got sold and he got replaced.

Flynn: - If you can't defend the box you concede goals - Second one we've left a big gap when one of the midfielders has run out of the area. A defender covers which leaves space in the box - Felt the players did alright. They put a shift in. They had moments in the game. Communication and concentration are the issues that he will talk about on a different day - Today's selection: Needed to freshen it up. Thought all 3 new players had reasonable debuts - Keeper was accomplished. His kicking was good. He was nervous as a life long fan - The other 2 started to blow up towards the end which is why he changed them - Bycroft selected over Ward because of the ball at his feet. Went through 12 goalkeeper before choosing him. First impressions were good considering he hasnt trained with the team - Seen enough of Gladzels movement and finishing in training to know he will be good. He's a 9 and a half - No Hutton?: Not ideal. Can only pick players in the right frame of mind to wear the shirt. - No mention of injury or illness for Hutton. Does that mean another club is in for him? 'Its your job to report on and dig deep on' - What gets him back in the right frame of mind? 'A big cuddle.' - Relief of seeing players come in. Hopefully more players next week that will improve the squad. - Khan dislocated 2-3 fingers. One wouldnt go back in without pain killers - Brewitt reoccurrence of knee problem - What gets us out of this gradual slide? 'Concentrations, cut out the constant errors and better players'

Does today make it 70 goals conceded in all comps now? In 33 games?

Let’s be honest is it 4 wins in 22 now in league 2 what other Swindon manager has ever survived a run like that?
Morfuni though is the one who should be out of the door first- won’t be renewing my ST if he is still in charge after 35 years

I don't disagree, but i can't remember hearing any anti Flynn chants or sentiment at any game. We the fans need to get on it at match days and express our displeasure.

Hawes asked whether he was subject to a bid
Flynn says ‘its your job to report on it’
What a fucking bellend
Yes that was a fucking ridiculous response. And the players in "the right frame of mind" comment was equally nonsense. It's up to the manager to get them in the right frame of mind in my opinion. Flynn does absolutely nothing that I would expect a manager to do. These fuckers are pros- make them fucking play!

Absolutely, its like fans just accept his shitness as being somewhat inevitable, a sad state of affairs.

I mean it could be that the club rejected a bid for him. Hutton wants out maybe, as was suggested last season i believe. Therefore his mind isn't in the right place? It would be vaguely comforting if the club was demanding a fair value.

He’s just a fucking idiot. Saying the other day we’ve had a bad patch and bad luck just shows complete denial. This 22 match run is half of the season FFS and we aren’t even 2 thirds through it yet.
