That was better than the 6-0 v Crawley. Great watch and a proper game of football.

Thought Minturn was superb. Have we ever produced a decent CB of our own?

Honestly can’t remember Thompson. I’d put Viveash in the ‘just about OK’ category.

Minturn looks like he could progress very well.

Flint was decent in the Danny Wilson era.

I was thinking of players who came through from the youth set up but we did give Flint his league debut so I guess you could count him as well.

Viveash came good eventually after a few loan spells and was playing pretty well by the time he left for Reading...

Is N.Thompson classed as a RB or a CB these days? Either way I really liked him at RB when he broke through, tough in the challenge and capable of moving up and down the pitch.

Didn’t produce him, though. Was it Alfreton we got him from?

Nicky Sumerbee could play left & right back and right wing.

Apart from the big part he played in their goal and the mistake he made that nearly lead to another goal. He did do lots of things well though and is only young.

Yes, then sent him straight back on loan to them after one game i think

Di Canio loved him though

Depends on your definition of decent I guess, you could say Tozer, albeit he didn’t play much for us had a decent league career.

Going back a bit further Kenny Stroud.

Minturn did well against some seasoned operators, but was still badly at fault for their goal and nearly caught out for another

Ideally he’d be getting these mistakes out the way in the national league
