Rational head on, Mansfield made enough chances to win that game twice over. But they didn't, and sometimes that happens.

I fucking love Minturn. None of this is his fault, he's being thrown in at the deep end. He's had to contend with Bowery, Akins, Flint amongst others and he was brilliant. Yes he's going to make mistakes, but he could easily shy away from duels, challenges and from wanting to receive the ball in dangerous areas but he's got something about him to show some personality. I really really hope it works out for him here because it would be class to have an academy lad at the heart of the defence for years to come.

When they hit the woodwork from the free-kick, I started to believe.

Also rational head says we created similar clear cut chances as them overall too, 6 each on target and we had 20 shots in total vs 15 for them.

I'm as miserable as they come but for me that was deserved today. I think we looked just as likely as them going forward. We tried to win the match by playing football where as they just resorted to long ball.

Minturn is going to be a solid player I just dont like how we HAVE to play him, hes doing fine, hes young and will make mistakes we just hope that they dont capitalise on the mistakes when he makes them. He made a few very good tackles and interceptions today.
