How long are they are trial for🤔
I don't know. Hawes has been asking about them for the last 3 weeks. His question today was: 'Last week you said you were going to make a decision on the trialists on Friday. Is there anything going on there?' Flynn basically said that they have done well, but they don't improve the team at this time. He is not offering any of them a contract, but is going to monitor their progress - Whether that was in training or as they develop their careers elsewhere wasn't said. But it sounded more like the latter.

Cheers, odd situation all round and have to wonder why the players are hanging around as you would expect them to have other interests.

Realistically if we navigate this mini injury blip and get Cain and Clayton fit we are basically just short a striker… for now.

I agree, but I think it would be harder to argue if Chazza hadn't missed so many this season.

He has missed a few but today he was back to his best in terms of endeavour and link up play. He has a good few assists this season.

I think Austin has been pretty good this season apart from his finishing.
Completely opposite of his first spell here where even if he was playing dog shite and couldn’t even control the ball properly he’d still pop up and score twice…

Completely opposite of his first spell here where even if he was playing dog shite and couldn’t even control the ball properly he’d still pop up and score twice… He left a goalscorer and has come back a player --- few sloppy passes but sweet set up for the first and was much better second half. --- not trying to stir the pot, but do we think young is reverting to the Bradford player Think he's a confidence player myself. Not saying it's wrong to sub him on 60 but maybe not helping his confidence. it's not like he was terrible or anything

Young was absolutely anonymous other than that chance he had. We are screaming out for another striker.

Young has really gone off the boil recently hasnt he was never going to sustain the start, but he isn't really getting the chances (big one today). can't work out if he's doing anything different, getting marked more closely or the supply is slowing up as we settle to normality.

I think Young has obviously picked up more attention from opposition. Partly because of his good start & partly because now we are 10 games into the season opponents are going to have much more data/footage to analyse before playing us - where as first few games we would have been a complete unknown.
We’ve definitely been pressed a lot more last few games. Dokes & FBT are playing more disciplined but have also been pinned back by the opposition.
All part of our style of play being more familiar to the rest of the league now. We were never going to play gung ho all season.
It’s like Football Manager and we’ve gone from ‘all out attack’ back down to just ‘attack’

Clean sheet and 3 points, lovely. Brewitt fucking brilliant. Had him as a squad player this season but he’s clearly the most important defender. So aggressive but effective in the same way. Shade a frustrating watch at times but showed one or two glimpses of what he can do and crowd were loud in praise for him when he did. Young really shoulda squared that chance to mceachran as I’m sure it was 2 v 1. Austin could tie his shoe laces and people will say he had a good game 😂 was full of praise for him at start of season - recently been poor. Good assist today- yes, but his control was awful, majority of passing off it and was letting balls run and struggled to chase them down. RHM poor untill the goal also- but if a striker scores/assists then I guess we shouldn’t moan 😭. Today was a must win i thought so job well done, hopefully get a good tie tomorrow.
700 for them is a piss poor turnout imo, easy trip down. Up the cunting 3 point reds.
