Charlie Norris or should that be Luke Austin really needs to start putting those chances away.

Lost cohesion after their goal & the subbing of Khan.
Good experience for the young lad.
Charlie a passenger in midfield thereafter.

Shade is better that Ukwake, but why then hide him inside.

Probably a fair result. Just.
We missed some big chances though.
Charlie scores in first half & it's game over.

Agree about Shade, too great clearances, but shoot don't simulate a foul.

Missed three absolute sitters.

Too many senseless yellow cards.

Clayton's return might mean Shade back on the bench, conceded a completely avoidable goal, depressing.

An absolutely classic case of 'sacked manager syndrome'.
Bradford, man for man, are an inferior team to us, but each had a point to prove with a new manager imminent. They harried and pressed us out of the game and deserved to win on effort alone. Goals change games and I'm afraid we fluffed our lines.

What a load of tripe.

I've watched it again and I still think it's a keeper error. And defensive crapness after

Most annoyed I've been this season tonight. We have a great first XI but two of our best players are on loan. We don't have anything to change it off the bench. Notts County brought on Marquis for McGoldrick in the week. We brought on a 16 year old today. I don't see how its "a competitive budget," the squad is threadbare with minimal experience... it doesn't add up.

This seasons Austin reminds me of Matt Taylor’s second season with us. The legs won’t do what the head wants anymore.

Not replacing Wakeling on deadline day was criminal.

If you don't have a replacement, you don't let him go. It's that simple.

We are run like an absolute circus. Could've really done with him today.

Austin can't finish a match, RHM is made of glass and Young doesn't even belong to us.

This could all go tits up very quickly.

For comparison, Bradford's bench today contained:

a 33 year old with ~400 league apps
a 27 year old with ~ 180 league apps
a 38 year old reserve keeper
Tyler Smith, ~ 130 league apps
a 25 year old with ~ 140 league apps (mostly in the League of Ireland)
a 20 year old loanee from Brentford
a 20 year old loanee from Aston Villa

Notts County on Tuesday:

35 year old reserve keeper with ~ 300 league apps
32 year old with ~ 300 league apps
36 year old with ~ 400 league apps
26 year old with ~ 250 league apps
Will Randall, 26, 120 league apps
26 year old with ~ 200 league apps
28 year old with ~ 300 league apps

Not everything is about experience but it's night and day. Most of the bench players of either of those sides would have more league experience than anyone in our squad bar Austin and Kinsella.

Just negative moaners if you point that out though. Some in our fan base will call you a "so called supporter"

Be interesting what we do with the loan spots in January. Ward will go back I’m assuming and if Kemp or Young are still here by the end of the window then I doubt it will be on loan (I doubt they’ll be here at all at this rate)

So we potentially have 4 spots to use to beef the squad up as well as Kemp/Young (or their replacements).

Not that we should have to be relying on those.

100% this. There’s no way on earth our budget is anywhere near ‘competitive’. A disappointing end of window, followed by seemingly free agent trialists that never emerge. Squad is threadbare AF.
