Very assured performance, that. The red card helped but we didn't really look like conceding. Much more restraint shown by the outside CBs this week and hey presto Brewitt looked much better for it too. I still think he's too slow but did well today.

The front players are really good. Great movement, good hold up play - any one of them could score every week.

He’s a terrible co com.

Hockaday is dour but good at explaining where as Smith struggles to get his views across.

Just realised I said exactly what you did. I added nothing. It seemed profound at the time

Hockaday came across as a massive arrogant T-WATTT, on LSPOD and after I can't stand his co comm

We had to work more for that one but that is no bad thing as will need more performances like that as we get into autumn and winter.

Walsall are a typical big, physical League 2 side but had enough about them especially their No 8, so good to learn how to beat those sides. Bit of the fox in the box from Chas for the first goal.

Agreed Fjortoft is very good along with Parkin, Rob Hartley and the late Alan Mac.

For me, that was the most satisfying result/performance. Much more mature and none if that kamikaze madness. For the first time in ages I never felt there was an impending disaster waiting to happen.

Brewitt had a particularly good game. Young off it, Khan off it, the rest very good. They didn’t look a bad side but had little to offer up top. As per, the ref made a few strange decisions - none more so than stopping the game so the ball girl behind the TE could shift the plastic blue ball holder thingy a couple of yards to the right.

My 28/1 is looking very nice atm!
