Overall I think they played well. Need to fix the mental let downs and have a killer mentality. But if they can play with the intensity they did a lot of this match good things will come. It is up to the manager to have them more nentally ready and phyched up coming out of the half. That was what cost us this came this has been a trait since I started watching. I put it on a manager to have his team ready for first 10 min of a half. But there was a lot of good stuff overall

Yeah I don’t want to see the “would have taken a point before the match” bollocks. We were 4-1 up at half time and 5-3 up in the 90th minute. That’s utter shite to bottle that.

Bollocks. At only 4-1 up we knew this was going to happen didn’t we.
We hoped it wouldn't but deep down yes, we did...

They had 28 shots to our 8??? Surely we had more than 8 shots? we hit the woodwork twice and their defender hit the post with a pass back. Does that count as a shot?

Genuinely thought to myself if we can get to 90 without conceding one, we'll be ok as we won't concede two in injury time. especially when only 5 went up.
Fucking dog shit.

We scored an injury time winner on Tuesday & conceded an injury time equaliser today.
Without those two goals we would have got 4 points from two away games, with them we got four points.
It just feels shit today, and feels like points thrown away

Why the hell did we not use any more subs? Young was dead on his feet, as was Kemp!

fucking pissed off with that. Can't say we were robbed and a point is a point but defensively as a team that's unacceptable.
Crewe on steroids

That's kind of what happens when you have a team designed to be on the ball not without it. Wrexham were a bit of a one trick pony, but it is a very good trick - get that ball into a big man up top and create mayhem in the box. We have nobody able to handle it - the fact of the matter is we could easily have conceded three or four more today as well.
On the plus side, we tore them apart every time we went forward with the ball on the deck.
Honestly do not know whether I am happy or sad after today's performance. We look like we will score a lot of goals this season, we look like we will concede a lot. I have no idea which way it will shake out over the course of the season though.
The backline and midfield is so porous. Brewitt just likes to get in one on one tussles - think it tricks people into believing he is a good defender. Malife wants to be attacking and FBT is a left back so plays with more freedom than you want from someone holding the line. In front of them we have a team of tippy tappy midfielders who look great creating possession but no interest in digging in. Kemp for example, two great goals, should have had one more and a couple of great balls into the forwards. Then, with about 5 mins to go he gave away a foul by their left back corner and just stood there while Wrexham took the free kick and moved forward. Wants to be attacking, not defending.
I suppose it's going to be fun and hair raising in equal measure this season unless we sign the three or so players we've been crying out for since January.
