Actually looking forward to this game on Saturday now. Please don't lose this, it would be doubly unbearable.

Wrexham have had a reasonable start to the season including beating Wigan in the cup, and I do worry about our squad depth and fitness. Then again they conceded 5 on the opening day. I can see there being goals at both ends so I'll go for 2-2. Att: 10,309 (1,143 away)

Have plans on Saturday so will be missing this one. I actually think it will be a blessing in disguise as I have a feeling we might get 'beaten up' a bit.

My first game of the season. Haven't been to Wrexham since Evans banged in that 300 yard free kick and they gave us our first defeat in that Wise / Sturrock season. Obviously they're a bit more glamorous these days! Wrexham seem slightly vulnerable at the back but a big, well drilled unit overall who have some big fellas upfront that we'll struggle with. If Austin can get his shooting boots back on I think we'll have a chance but I'll go for a 4-2 Wrexham win. I'd be delighted with a point!

Hoping to keep up my proud 0% record in the Prediction League by going for a 2-0 loss.

I'll make the not very bold prediction that it won't be 0-0.

3-3 having been 3-1 up...

I was saying last night to someone 0-0 is the only result that could surprise me here.

I think we might lose this one. Would be delighted with a point.

Wrexham have a history of ending our unbeaten starts to seasons (twice right?)

Yes... 4-3 in the McMahon promotion season, 2-1 in the Wise/Poyet/Sturrock promotion season...

Att:10,210 (1150 Swindon).

Still no idea what the score is likely to be yet. Wxm started off with 1 win, 1 draw 1 defeat scoring 8 conceding 8, vs us with 1 win and 1 draw from the first 2 league games scoring 4 and conceding 3.

Both teams drew in the EFL Cup against teams from L1, Wxm being home to Wigan and us away at Posh, both finished 1-1 but they won their shootout and we didnt.

They have spread their 8 goals in 4 games between 7 players.
Our 5 goals in 3 games have all come from different players.

They have kept 1 clean sheet in 4 games, we have yet to keep a clean sheet.

In their 4 games so far they average
48% possession per game
18 shots per game
7 on target shots per game
9 corners per game

From our first 3 games we are averaging
56% possession
21 shots per game
7 shots on target per game
7 corners per game

Stats seem fairly level but Wrexham will have the advantage of the home crowd, but we will be backed by a decent sell out following and hope we make some noise.

And the future is certain
Give us time to work it out

I would take a draw, but have a horrid feeling we’ll simply be outmuscled. 2-1 loss
