Looking forward a bit. Thinking of going to Donny on the train. Are there any strikes planned?

Yes. It's a strike day.
Should still be possible to get there & back.
Check timetable in week before.

Having a look at squads, how the other half live!

Their fans moaning about having a small squad for the coming season, they have a 1st team squad of 33 players, 4 have not started a league game but including 5 goalkeepers!

We have a 24 man squad with 11 of those players having made sub 20 1st team league starts and only McEachran and RHM having started more than 10 league games. Including just 2 keepers.

Brann 0, Brown 0, Kanu 0, Minturn 2, Devine 1, Genesini 1, Ward 1, Mahoney 2, Cain 8, RHM 15 and
McEachran 17 league starts in total.

They are complaining they only have 24 fit players to pick from!

In the words of James "If I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor!".

So, who’s likely to be the new injury today? Khan and RHM back hopefully.

I think it’s fairly natural to detest these kind of manufactured clubs.

Oh for Red Bull Swindon!

Their fans love us it seems.

Quote
The Swindon lot are little slugs, little slugs with no personality who are just jealous of us because we're better than them at everything

Reading their forum they seem to be fairly arrogant and have a lot of bad takes about Wrexham imho.

According to one of them we sing about the IRA. What a strange thing to lie about.

Remember going there in the league many many years ago to see the reds play driving around the magic roundabout , apparently voted the 4th scariest junction in Britain.

Pretty standard stuff I would say. Lots of ignorant bollocks, some insight, usual cheap jokes{sheep, Rhyl (and Holyhead in this instance), Mullin envy, blah, blah, blah). No different from most other sites, even including this one tbf.

Changed their colours to red.
Named their mascot Rockin Robin
Hired a Flynn as a manager.
Are these guys Wrexham Wannabees?
Awaiting a docuseries called 'So long to Swindon'!

Just survived a scare this week having to find several
Million pounds to avoid getting into financial difficulties.
I had a coffee with their owner Clem Morfuni yesterday and can assure you he respects and loves what Wrexham are doing. He lives here in Sydney.
Not sure about the fans but I respect what he is doing to ensure the club survive
Have a bet with him on the result of just one dollar :-)

Jumped up little pricks.

Aren’t the coaches usually filled with the tartan rug and thermos brigade?

It’s the lot that go by train they have to look at - that Wobbly Bob gets a bit lairy.

Not far off a tartan rug & thermos to be fair, but nah prefer to keep myself to myself while enjoying the local hospitality of wherever we happen to be.

Having said, a noticeable police presence in town or should that be city centre.
More to do with policing their twats I suspect.

You're right normally it's the ones who go by train but it seems Walsall had some thugs who caused trouble a few miles outside Wrexham last Tuesday.
