Just checked the George at Newmarket, Nailsworth, and it's not open on Tuesdays. They have a bar for away fans at the ground before entry if people want to get the journey over and done with. The Ale House in Stroud has an array of beers. The Lord John near the station is cheapest. Buses to Forest Green from near the cinema not far from the station. There are two or three pubs in Nailsworth at the bottom of the steep hill up to the ground (Egypt Mill; the Village(?); the Britannia). I've checked Egypt Mill's website and it says it's open on Tuesdays. Dunno about the others.
