I'll rephrase to try and keep it constructive.
1. if the only players we sign are the trialists it's disappointing
2. I think it fair people are moaning at the situation as it stands. it is perfectly possible we'll be rejoicing come September.
3. if we have experienced people lined up is there any reason they can't be "trialling with us today to get some games with perspective teammates?"
I can see they might not be in the team by next week, and it could be that simple, deal done so no point
