I mean, I hope he (Fankwe) turns out great in the role he plays - we need someone there, BUT, this would be a puntiest of punts again. Agreed. Its fine to sign the cherry on top of the cake late. I think we all know and accept some of the very best are only available last minute, particularly loans, which Doyle was, as it takes the parent club doing their business to know what they will move on. The problem at the moment is we dont have much of a cake to put that cherry on. We have the team from the second half of the season (the poorest half) without the clubs top goalscrorer and best player (Williams). So lets get the 4 or 5 we need first then if we can get a cherry or two late on then great. |

Probably worth doing, there are a lot of questions from fans about lack of activity in the transfer market. Might be good to get a bit of clarity to ease a few nerves. |
