I’ve been to both preseason games so far and this new formation throws up some questions and dare I say it, some competition.
FBT, Brewitt and JMT have all played the middle of the 3 and they all seem comfortable enough.
Clayton has looked as a good as anyone else at the back so far also, so with 3 out of those 4 being left footed you could say the obvious that’s it’s unbalanced.
Brewitt was very assured today and played a couple of lovely passes.

I’m aware it’s only teams way down the pyramid but I’m feeling a little more confident about our shape and state of the defence compared to when the whistle blew against Crawley.
Clayton has bulked up a little too. Some options for Flynn for sure.

Big forward for Charlie/RHM to play off of. A DM and a left wing back needed for me.

But he’s right. Shade flatters to deceive. If a football brain could be inserted in his head then he could be good. No one has been able to get him to use all his physical attributes well for 90 mins on the pitch.

Interesting....playing like Sheff Utd c. Chris Wilder.... intriguing... Anything that doesn't feature the 'horseshoe of doom' is fine by me...

Wakeling had ice strapped to his leg, to the side/back of his knee (tried to add photo but gave up !)
If you sit/stand near the dug outs at games you'll see players with ice packs all the time... it's pretty common practice and doesn't necessarily mean it's anything remotely serious...

By the sounds of it, we've got a preseason friendly against Swansea, presumably behind closed doors. Flynn mentions it in his Melksham post match.

Bury 0-5 Bradford (level 9)

That was the first game at Gigg Lane for over 4 years, so whilst not ideal I suspect Bury fans still enjoyed it!

I can’t make out what the last question is? Talking about a position.

Think it's asking the position of the player we're close to bringing in, which Flynn responds with a No

Absolutely and welcome back Bury, seen Swindon play there 5 times before, the first being well before the redevelopment, quirky old ground but proper old school lower league one.

Nice little video from a young fan here.
Worth watching for the FBT strike

Who is higher up the pyramid. Melksham or Corsham?
