Good result considering FGR could only draw there 4 days ago.

Quote from: Peter Venkman
I have heard some good stuff about our youngster Dani Gonzalez who is playing this half, supposed to be very quick and versatile can play in a few roles.

so you are saying Gonzalez is speedy?

don't suppose he's a trained carpet fitter too? (underlay underlay)

nice to see preseason going ok so far. results aren't that important but we should at least show a bit of quality - which we seem to be.

no new injuries?

Can't read too much into pre-season results of course but I do like us to see off non league sides by at least a couple of goals and it's slightly concerning when we don't (i.e last pre-season)

Absolutely, we did better this year at Supermarine and Melksham than we did last season.

Next game on Tuesday at Corsham should also be a good run out.

Well, what an enjoyable afternoon that was! Few pints of Thatchers, bit of chat and rescued a woman’s handbag!

Bit of a scuffle in the 2nd half with beered up fans but nothing to write home about.

My take fwiw, as I can’t identify many players. Brewitt is fine, FBT stand out in the 1st half. Mrs Audrey liked the look of McCreachan but not in a carnal way. Hutton was Hutton.

2nd half JMT or whatever he’s called, looked just what we need at the back. Organising the defence, keeping it simple, bit of a unit.

A couple of the youths looked decent but I have no idea who they were. Were there any triallists? No idea.

Looking forward to Corsham Tuesday.

One thing with Hutton, always rated him as a good crosser of the ball.

Only thing I do rate him for to be honest haha.
