Wow there's a surprising number of former Town players on that list.

You missed the rather surprising presence of Kyle Lightbourne for Walsall in 1996/7 Proper mad that Northampton haven't had one for almost 30 years.

Our attendances the past two seasons have been nothing short of remarkable given our last 40 years or so history. In 2015, a mere 8 years ago, in the season we got to the Play Off Final for Div 3, we managed 6,305 for our second last home game against Walsall.

It was a Tuesday and Walsall only brought 148 fans but I understand what you mean, the previous 4 games and the one after we averaged nearer 8,600. I think all the sub 7,000 attendances that season were on Tuesday nights, all the Saturday games were quite healthy. The raise in average in the last 2 years has been astounding TBH.
