Same as, it's the slow build up and not creating chances which have been the problem.

Might need Austin to do what Mckirdy did last season with the “rallying cry”. Was a catalyst for change and worked well.

Let's hope the manager/coaches can swallow their pride and accept the best hope of success is for Charlie to be King for the next few months.

Who knows if that will work but we're in too deep and need everyone to go all-in with Charlie as the clubs talisman.

I've not seen anything written about his contract only being for six months.

It's on the clubs announcement: https://twitter.com/Official_STFC/status/1608840464312172546?t=Yi5OcD6tIjAk41YoTDWQww&s=19

Abuse and criticism are not the same.

im a bit annoyed by lindseys comments really and wish that cut off interview wasn't aired.

he seems very hard done by and doesn't understand why he is getting criticism?

we need promotion this season- its the clubs aims, its his aim and it needs to happen.

the last 6 games (including northampton win) we are 17th in the form table.

we have scored 4 goals in those 6 games and failed to score in 3 of them.

the barrow win came against a team currently 21st the form table.

to think he wont clap the away fans because he has had unfair criticism?

he is extremely lucky and privileged to have the town job and will probably be the highest position he ever gets in a league club. take a step back, understand why the fans are frustrated and stop making crazy comments about box entries as if we are watching different football matches.

attendances are incredible and by some miracle people are still coming to watch his brand of football in the hope of turning it around.

Perfectly summed up.

All that, yet it’s the fans fault and SL is receiving “abuse”.

Do me a favour.

Good points you make thrown in that he's probably not happy having a big time "Charlie" resigning for the club!

Maybe Lindsey will give the supports the pat on the back they so desperately crave when they actually start supporting the team and creating a positive atmosphere?

It's pretty hard to get excited about the type of football we have seen at home, we have great attendances and that is fans doing what they need, putting money into the club.

More people will equal higher budgets, the crowd gets going when we have some thing good to support.

That’s bollocks. A positive atmosphere is generated from what’s happening on the pitch.

Dull football = dull atmosphere

Yeah fine - don’t get excited, I get that…

Just don’t expect a Pat on the back from the manager for not being excited

I don’t give a fuck if he comes over or not. But he shouldn’t pick and choose whether he does or not depending on either the result or his mood.
