Well he plays league 2 football. As shit as Wales are, you’d be majorly worried if he was one of the top 16 best Welsh players. He’s played some good games for Town but at a really really poor standard of football.

Fair enough but why take him then? There's Welsh players playing in a higher league than him. And he scored in his last appearance

that was very very comfortable. Didn't expect that regardless of Wales first 2.

also as group toppers we play Sunday and avoid the clash with Town

26 man squad isn't it, gotta take a few players who are more there as good tourists as you're never going to get them all game time. Same with England taking Conor Coady.

Senegal it is then. Should be a fun one to watch, can't see them setting up in a low block somehow. Game on Sunday evening.

Will get the praise if we beat the likes of France, Spain, Brazil.

I wonder which nation have used the most players on a World Cup (…Euros too)

So after all that moaning. England qualified, topped the group, no suspensions, no injuries, no fatigue and ready to go for the knockouts - couldn’t have gone much better really could it?

Interesting couple of minutes with Tunisia scoring (putting them second) and then Leckie getting an absolutely beauty for Aus.

Tunisia need a draw in Aus-Den, Den need a win and Aus need to win if Tunisia do.

I bet none of French nationals are calling for their manager to go for his group management in their final (redundant) game…

Only a small sample size but Harry Souttar looks solid.

Only played once for Stoke his season (….assume injured?) otherwise would be a decent (but probably unlikely) loan option in Jan.

Saw this posted on Twitter, don’t know if it’s true, but would confirm what I’ve always believed that England always seems to do better when the game is in BBC

“England's World Cup TV record since 1998:

BBC: 12 wins out of 16, 75% win rate
ITV: 2 wins out of 15 games, 13% win rate”
