Nowhere near as bad a half as some would lead you to believe

Bring on Crawley away.

So you can watch some more possession football without any end game?

Don't watch much PL football at all, does Kane always play this deep for spurs.

Yeah not bad at all against a stubborn defensive team with no real counter attacking threat - not sure you can play on the counter when you have two achingly slow players up front and just Daniel James who can run around ahead of Ampadu at DM. I can understand why you have to play Bale for the potential moment of magic but he just offers nothing in regular play.

England are nearly getting it right, lots of things going awry at the last minute but it'll come. Something like 75 percent of goals in this tournament have come in the second half.

Bring on Trent Arnold for his passing ability.

my view:

ok we didn't create much. But we had two or three chances, not none

Wales have inexplicably been passive, keeping it as tight as they can but not attacking much at all.

They will have to go for it. I suspect they hoped to nick a 1-0 and hope Iran can hold the USA.

They could be a different team in the second half, but up to now they've been very poor.
