Joe Allen, Ramsay and Bale are past it, legs wise. Age is but a number

They deserve to play in the world cup for getting them there though. And imagine the flack for taking them off.

Wales aren't done, especially if we beat USA and qualify so we can blood some squad players at some point on Tuesday. But it's out of their own hands.

I don't think the group is done yet

Ah let's be fair, that was pretty funny. We've all laughed at Saudi beating Argentina and Japan beating Germany, gotta take our own hits too.

If it was piss taking from the fans then I’d agree, the players not so much so.

Would we find it as amusing if there were videos of England players celebrating this result on social media?

There is zero chance of Southgate and/or the England players taking it easy v Wales.

No absolutely, but I would think the Welsh and Scots would revel in such pisstaking activities, maybe even the Irish too. Shows a lack of respect IMO.

I have a distrust of anyone who wants other home nations to do well. including players

what you have to understand that as well as small man syndrome, Wales have an inferiority

Win tonight and we’d be through.

He’d definitely rest players and I guess look at where we’d end up depending on if we finish first or second in the group.

If we beat the USA it’ll take a massive defeat by Wales plus an Iran win v USA for England not to finish top.

Is it head to head or GD first.

Even more reason to rest players against Wales.

Only compared to England's massive superiority complex batch. I support both but the amusing way England fanatics don't recognise that they're the biggest underachievers in world football since Spain had some success tickles me. We're a classic case of all the gear, no idea: world's richest clubs, huge support, massive grounds, first pro league in the world etc. Can't buy a win against a higher ranked team & still banging on about 66 which took both home advantage & helpful refereeing

We're not the biggest underachievers in world football, we've gotten pretty much what we have deserved. The helpful refereeing reference is bollocks too.
