Its a strange one isn't it though, joined Boro in September but seems to have been so unfit that even after c.3 months not considered fit enough to get into the team, spose if he train swell and then plays his arse off in the couple of post world cup games for Boro I would imagine they will offer him an extension anyway. Whatever happens can't see him dropping another 2 divisions. |

Very often is the way when a player gets called up for the 1st time at a smaller club, they have their heads turned and want some of the wages and lifestyle of the team mates. Luckily Joniesta was already an established player so hasnt been affected the same, although he is a massively humble and very nice chap. |
