Of course they can. I’m on about those who predict doom every single game - no matter who we’re playing.

It’s tiresome.

Ok. i sometimes suggest that we may lose- that fact is that we will lose many games.  It doesn't mean that I don't want to win.

No mate.

Very slow going. Any prospective UK buyer is now getting stuffed by the exchange rate.

With all the shit going on in the world people are, understandably, a bit more reticent about most things.

Might still move back in the spring and AirBnB the house for an income.

Cheers, it's tough everywhere righ now and only going to get worse. Maybe the air b&b is the answer to enable you to move back here.

I hate Colchester with a passion. I think it stems from the 3-0 defeat away at theirs when we should have made the autos in league 1. I can’t remember what year. And obviously the 9 man debacle, that was an embarrassment beyond belief.

Still as I’m going today I’m predicting a 4-0 thumping Williams brace and whoever else fancies the other goals I don’t mind

I remember going to Colchester away on a Friday night around 1975 we got stuffed 4-0 and had our coach bricked after the match and at to drive all the way back to Heston services with a side window missing before the coach was swapped.

Some will probably say it is a brave move leaving Reed out of the 11

…others will say it’s an easy choice because he hasn’t been good this season.

I, on the other hand, look at least week and scratch my head as to what he's seen that makes him think 'that'll do'

But I do accept that this is a different opposition, and that it gives them a chance to prove that result wrong.

i also make the comment not on a Reed v khan basis, if be looking to change formation a bit and try and get jephcott into the game.

but hey, come 5pm. we'll know more.

As Khan was easily our best player it would be crazy to leave him out
