Think Old Macdonald is OK. Not sure on Lavinier. Khan for Williams I reckon. Murphy to come on for last 20 minutes. Lindsey said he wasn’t too keen on Jephcott and The Wakeling starting together.
Got choices now.
I would go Wakeling for Williams, I would start Jephcott and push Wakeling wide left/right with Shade on the other wing. Brynn Hutton/Lavinier Macdonald Clayton Blake-Tracey Gladwin Reed Darcy Shade Jephcott Wakeling I do disagree with Lindsey on this as I feel Wakeling can do the "Yates style" role wide. If not though Khan must start.

Hutton has put some great crosses in last 2 games. Need a lump in the middle!

I think I said this in a matchday thread - I think we'd be much more positive on Hutton if we were a target man side. Paul Sturrock would have loved him!

I am sure thats how Lindsey wanted to play until he realised he bought a target man who wasn't very good in Adeloye, hence us getting Hutton and Shade in.

Don't dislike that line-up at all JJ. I also agree on your comment about Wakeling. He has similar attributes in that he never stops running, never gives the defenders a moments peace and knows how to finish. Hutton has put some great crosses in last 2 games. Need a lump in the middle!
Gladwin also has the ability to put in a decent curling cross from the number 10 position. Is that lump Jephcott?

Got a feeling Khan will start with Reed and Gladwin in a 3. Hopefully Wakeling will start but wouldn't be surprised if Darcy starts instead. It's a shame that Williams is becoming the most unused international of all time.

Like that line up. Definitely worth giving it a go. Unlike the consensus I think Wakeling is more of a Sam Parkin than a Jerry Yates and would be better utilised in the box. Don’t think we can go 2 upfront due to our wingers or lack of

According to their manager, our team hasn’t changed much from last season.
If that’s his level of background Information on us he could be in for a shock.

I'm walking the Stroud 5 Valleys Walk tomorrow: 22 miles for the Meningitis Trust. Reg enjoyed popping over to Stroud. His ghost tomorrow will walk part of the way and say, 'Great win. 2-1. Never a happy hunting ground, Grimsby. Even in the days when Donald brought home a basket of fish as man of the match.'
