A win on the road, and a clean sheet. Not much to complain about there, and a fair few MoM candidates for me without an obvious standout.

Having thought about it I am going for Wakeling, didn't look that great pre season but for me hes been a revelation, never stopped running all game.

Could easily have gone to Hutton, Williams, Baudry, Blake-Tracey, Clayton, Darcy and even Reed who looked back near his old form today.

Blake Tracey for me, I really like him, very steady. Reminds me of Jay McEveley.

Williams edges it again - as on Tuesday.

But I thought there were even more contenders for MOM.

No one especially outstanding but nearly everyone good/very good with some "improvers" like Hutton.

Up to our goal I would say Williams showed the most quality. Cracking long-range effort shortly after the goal as well, would have been fully deserved. After that I was mostly too tense to pay proper attention to who deserves some merit for what.

Both full backs were good. If you were a Doncaster fan you’d say both were given too much respect/time going forwards. Brynn very solid, though never really at full stretch today. Thought all of our midfield looked better than theirs. Will mention Reed as well for being much more recognisable as the 21-22 edition. I know some on here think he is stealing a living.

Wakeling for me.  His energy is off the scale, didn't stop running, made some decent tackles in dangerous areas and was hacked down when through on goal a couple of times.

He needs to play with people closer to him.

Starting to look like a very astute signing...

I voted Hutton. Had a tough start to the season so with that in mind thought he was great today.

Williams was another level today.

Wakeling and Darcy also very good.

Clayton in control at the back and Brynn is superb when called upon and distribution.

Good to see Hutton going forward with real quality but did leave us exposed on the counter a couple of times.

No stand out, a few on par but Williams shaded it.
Gave us energy and another 90 minutes.

Loved watching his Dad launching out of his seat when he nearly scored from a half volley.

Tricky today. From Gladders, wakeling, Williams, Baudry, Hutton, and that's being harsh on others

Wakeling for me, what a fucking find he’s turning out to be. Clayton, Baudry and the midfield all very solid also.
