We create nothing from corners & set pieces and can't remember the last time a centre half scored a header from one.

Baudry towards the end of last season, also Conroy scored at least one from a corner last season (against Shezza) that I can remember.

The club have reported today that after Tuesdays game there was a lot of vandalism in the Town End of Seats and Toilets being broken. This is really unacceptable and is no way to support the club or team, it costs the club money.  If you see this report it to the club! #STFC

Not really. The fundamental concepts haven't changed.

Fundamentals are the same but the coaches methods are different.

Very true but possession football seems to be the In thing these days with very few teams doing their own thing.

There is a difference between dictating a simple style of football to extract maximum benefit from your team vs. just being simple.  Shouting at players because they can't pass a ball as well you could when you played is not really helping anyone - "Payney, get it on fucking target" being one of his pearls of wisdom.

My own unreliable recollection is that Paolo required his players to follow instructions very closely.  More than to be skilful or not.

Otherwise substitution or fists would surely follow.

Yep, and most of the managers following Paolo were slated for not showing enough passion for not doing the same.
