I have to say that although I’m prepared to give Mr. Lyndsey more time than most it, would seem to me that today is kind of a must win game. Should we not win I hope there are no ‘the lads are/were fatigued’ type excuses.
I fear that even if we win 5-0 tonight that may not be enough for some fans who have already made their mind up on SL and would say we were lucky to not lose. Not that we will win by 5 goals, but I think many fans have already tarred him in preparation no matter what happens. I hope he can change our fortunes round soon. |

I would love for SL to succeed. I feel that as many have said the conception of him being the budget option is widespread and quite difficult for the club to argue against. For those who are into alternative depressing spectacles, apparently some cinema chains are showing the Queen’s funeral live.

Sutton are a big very strong bullying side, they break quick and like to niggle and foul and wind up the ref and the opposition as they did last season. They will be very hard to break down with a packed defence and midfield and a couple of big quick wide strikers.
So Swindon havent lost a midweek league game in the last 9 with 5 wins and 4 draws.
