Does anyone from the "give him 10 games" gang really, seriously,  genuinely believe SL is going to turn this round??

No, sadly. Nothing personal. He just needs to go, or the next few weeks, and beyond, could get ugly. He should be relieved of his duties this week.

Unless STFC spend a sustained spell in the bottom 3, I doubt that there will be a change in management. I suspect that a mid to lower mid table finish won't be seen as particularly problematic.

Totally disagree with that.  If Clem only cares about cash, then the reduced revenue will be a massive incentive to change things.

If we are shit, or have nothing to play for, people just won't be arsed to go.

Surely if you want to progress you speculate to accumulate a bit?

Not appoint a youth team coach as manager

…yeah like keeping hold of your top goal sco….oh wait.

I really wanted it to work but after seeing signs of improvement recently today has raised serious questions. It was slow, laboured, pedestrian and the players body language overall doesn't look right. It's almost like they lack any belief and that they seem to be confused by what Lindsey is looking to do. He said he wanted fast attacking football through the thirds. We've seen very little evidence of this. Perhaps he's a good number 2 (not in the toilet sense) and needs a proper manager to work with. First half there were players popping up in different positions all over the place, it was either a high level of fluidity or confusion!

I think we seriously need to have a think whether this is going to work, I've got my doubts.

Not remotely close to it.

No goals in it. Back line seems less leaky but there are no goals on this side & no one that can dominate a midfield.

Reeds such a passenger. We should have flogged him for cash.

I’m convinced this squad is better than 1 win all season.

Every game, without fail, we offer up chances to the opposition. Just like last season but without the goal threat.

Worst of both worlds.

Gladwin still can’t move and should probably play walking football and Johnny Williams; if he goes will be the worst player at the World Cup. Mad to think a player who can’t even run a midfield against a shit L2 side with 10 men could play on the WC.

We sold all of our creativity yesterday.

I'd argue that it's not even speculating as that would imply investing where we didn't even want to pay the going rate for the role so ended up with someone not qualified for it.

It's the same with the back office staff too.  Penny pinching on staff is a false economy

That’s because a lot of people still believe Reed is a good midfielder who wasn’t completely carried by Jack Payne driving us forward…

would a return to attendances of 5-6k affect the finances that much?
