mckirdy has earned his reputation of being a chopsy and gobby player. needs to deal with it

any other player and that wouldn't have been a 2nd yellow and would have won a penalty.

4 yellows and a red and haven't seen a bad tackle yet.

the ref performance is overshadowing yet another dismal home performance with 0 shots on target. no pattern of play and no build up that looks worthy of getting a goal.

brynn is playing like the bfg I saw at woking.

He's always had the potential tho

Every player has the potential to play at a higher level, they are not though - i don't get your point

Reeds a great player in a team that is looking to dominate possession.

Pointless in this 'system' that Lindsey has put together, which has no coherence or thereat.

Lindsey is the issue, not Reed.

Could you explain the system that has been put together by the coach.  I can’t seem to see one on the pitch.  Complete shit

Are you asking for Expected Red (XR) stats?

Not asking for anything just talking about his flamboyant & often petulant character on the pitch

Very disappointing half.

No patterns of play, no sense that there’s a plan. Very concerning though I appreciate we’re still very early doors in terms of the season.

Not withstanding he was stupid to get booked for shooting off his mouth that was never a booking for Harry’s second yellow. Pathetic decision from the referee. Watching the replays I have no idea what he’s seen that makes him think it’s worthy of a card.

Reeds a stat padder.
Most of what he did last season was pass it between himself and Conroy.
…but people love to wank over pass completion stats

Nothing to do with stats, Reed has showed with what he did on the pitch that he was a quality player last season, not with his stats.  Reed of last season is better than any player on the pitch today, unfortunately we currently have this seasons version.

Lindsey probably lucky the fans anger is going to be directed at the Ref rather than him…

I don't blame Lindsey. Taking a month to promote what looks to be an out of his depth manager, and then fill the squad with far less quality than least season, is down to Clem.

Tbf, the question is whether it was a yellow card offense, and it wasn't
[/quote

I suspect McKirdy’s verbals and overall attitude towards the officials may have contributed to that second yellow.

Brynn our best player on the pitch that half

I thought Baudry but Brynn a good shout too. Brennan can’t cope with their 10, Shade looks a shadow of the player Walsall had last year. We look clueless and the ref for some reason has it in for us. Be delighted if we get a point, but even before the red Salford should have been 2-0 up.

As a coach and past player.
I just don’t see any leadership on or off pitch.
That is a real problem if players aren’t buying in and giving effort
A real problem if you don’t have any leadership on the pitch.
For me Johnny Williams is that leader even maybe he is t fitting into
Managers plan.  Have to have somebody to lead and control the team

Agree, but surely after the second soft/harsh yellow you adjust, be a bit smarter about it!?

Shade and Hutton look like they have lead boots on!!!

Aren't they supposed to be quick? and dangerous? isn't that the whole reason we signed them?
