Rob Angus reiterated that the budget has gone up last night, I guess the proof will be in the pudding.

Good to hear. I trust Angus. I am also confident we will have people who are on the verge of signing or who have already signed.

He said it's a competitive budget. Said he wouldn't give a figure as that gives other teams/players the info.

By that token it could be that we are downplaying the money we received from Twine as we don’t want people to think we are minted as that will weaken any bargaining positions we may find ourselves in.

Anyone hoping we get Cooper,O'Brien and Tomlinson again? Or do we want a clean break from last season's loans?Or has it already been "no-noed"?

I would be happy to see both of them back. I expect they will end up in Charlton.

I'm shocked. Who would have predicted that we will never know how much we get?

Very doubtful on both.
Of last seasons loanees Tomlinson would have been the must have if possible.
That prospect looks to have been covered off by the early recruitment.
I'd expect him to be a regular in L1 this season.

JOB might be the most likely for a return.
Wouldn't object if that were to happen, but hoping for experience to dominate the CB berths.
