Steve McClaren is the new manager of Jamaica. I think we're all waiting to see how that first interview goes...

I deal with a Dutch company through work & in McLaren's defence I have found myself composing emails in Dutch English speak without meaning to.

Then again he did it via spoken word so maybe there is no excuse.

I went to Florida in 2005 for 3 weeks with a mate staying with his grandparents - who despite living in Florida for over 35 years at this point still had very thick Scottish accents.

Didn’t notice it at the time but when I eventually got home my parents were like ‘why are you talking like that? I’d picked up a Scottish twang….

…then after I’d got home & put my suitcases in I went to Rotherham away to see us win 1-0.

How he keeps getting jobs is beyond me. Plymouth were absolute dogshit yesterday.

I suspect ‘Wayne Rooneys Plymouth Argyle’ will just be ‘Plymouth Argyle’ by christmas.

Sat above us in the table with more wins (ok a win!) very odd timing, but 3 defeats from 4 and a home defeat to Tranmere yesterday broke the camels back (8 defeats in the last 10 games didnt help).

But they have a wealthy owner so will replace him soon enough I would imagine with their own choice as they inheritied Simpson when they took over and he guided them to relegation last year too with a healthy budget.
