Des Buckingham favourite still though, as of 2 hours ago.

Buckingham has been favourite for quite a few of the management job going around I've noticed, his name must be getting passed around

Have to admit (and I'm sure I'm not alone) I've never heard of him. Interesting sounding guy that never played any professional football but became a football coach at the age of 18. Clearly has done very well in NZ, Australia and India but the challenge of doing that in the EFL is totally different.

There can't be too many managers in the EFL that are qualified pilots either!

He works for the City Football Group which is owned by Man City - Mumbai City come under that umbrella.. Liam Manning also did before he went to Franchise. I suspect he will do will there. Compo was 900k according to reports.

Theres only one team out of Oxford and us thats on an upward trajectory, and it sure aint Swindon!

Tbf, the compo is offset against the compo they are receiving for Manning and his staff.

Me too. I think he might be another Luke Williams. Did really well with Crewe until they were promoted and sold all the best players. The only thing that worried me was why noone else had jumped for him? Will be interesting to see how he progresses.
