Lampard isn't as bad as everyone thinks.

Took Derby to play off final
Top4 and FA Cup final with Chelsea
Joined Everton when they were fucked in January and kept them up

His biggest problem seems to be when others get involved in the summer and just give him signings, strikes me as the manager who wants to be hands on and not be told who he is signing and playing, he would hate it here

I agree to be honest.

At Chelsea, he got them top 4 whilst under an embargo. This was also the season Hazard just left, who was carrying them for years. Got a tune out of Mount, Tomori, Abraham etc and made Reece James very good.

Then the board signed loads of expensive players and ruined the harmony they had.

I also don’t think Chelsea win the CL without him - even though he was gone before they won it (but I also don’t think he’d have won it. That weird Lampard / Tuchel hybrid team was decent)

Genuinely thought "can't believe he's dropped to non-league" and then googled to find Shrewsbury are in League One. Fucking hell this club.

I see recently taken over Burton Albion FC still havent appointed a new manager after36 days without one and being stuck at the bottom of league 1 with just 1 win so far this season.

Mark Kennedy has slipped down to 5th favourite with 2 Swedes in the running above him in the odds and Barnet and Rochdales manager in there too.

Odd things going on at Burton with their current chairman standing down next week to take over as Head Sporting Director at Molde FC in Norway.

They were taken over in the Summer by The Nordic Football Group.

All is not rosey there at the moment.

Jon Brady's left Northampton

They currently sit 21st in League One, one place below Wellens' Orient.

If we needed a manager now and had a board with a modicum of common sense, i would have been all over that one.

Rumour is Wellens is walking a tightrope at Orient too, not just for results.
