At the start of the first lockdown i came across a few old Swindon football Pinks whilst having a sort out, all sold now on e-bay.

Anyhow i scanned a few bits of interest before selling them, and then as ever did nothing with them. So, here are a few cartoons i scanned from various editions which i've just put onto flickr (hopefully the link works)

I've also got some reserve match reports and a few odds and odds which i'll put on flickr and then onto here.

Those are great. Good to see that even in 1978 we had a crowd noteworthy for being miserable

Used to love the Football Pink.
Just in time to run out the station and grab one before catching the train.

i liked the Pink too.
I vaguely remember that there was a period before the end of its life where it was still called the Football Pink but was printed on white newspaper - either because of a shortage of pink newspaper or as a cost saving measure.

Used to have a paper round delivering the "Pink" when I was a kid, used to spend as much time reading it as I did delivering them.... Great times

That far back? The Pink was still going strong in Newcastle when I lived there in the 90's and was finally binned in 2005.

Loved the Pink. Great coverage of the Wiltshire League also, which I used to play in. Selfishly, loved seeing my name in the same paper as my Town heroes. My old man used to pick it up in the Old Town newsagents on the way home

I used to buy the Pink every Saturday in the mid 70's and although they brought it back in the 90's it was never the same as sales were really poor and it wasn't around very long.
