If its something bespoke to reflect the PL season kit that rather flies in the face of cut budgets doesn't it?

The bespoke kit didn't cost anymore, as I understand it (I mean Power was the one who ordered it). The issues were that there was a minimum amount of kits required for a reorder and that they took longer.

Lets hope they order significantly more this time around.

I don't think they will want that mistake to happen again, listening to the kit man, they were reprinting early season used shirts for the Port Vale game because they were so low on kit.

I think that was alluded to in one of the Loathed Strangers pods with that Jonah fella. He was saying that the kits used in a pre-season game were also used in the Port Vale game with just the names and numbers printed over them. (I think that's right)

Not disagreeing you as I have no evidence to suggest otherwise, but that amazes me considering that someone at Puma must have spent time designing it and there would be no economies of scale in its production compared with just slapping some badges on a template kit.

Wasn't it suggested on here by some ITK type  Wink that Power deliberately went bespoke as by then he knew he wouldn't be the one paying for it.

I genuinely hope they have ordered enough kits this time. My boy will be devastated if he doesn't get one after last years fiasco.

Swirly pattern similar to the home shirt in 1993 but no collar on the home kit, possibly a V neck.

Are they doing this because there's bigger news to come tomorrow or is that too optimistic?
