Harry’s fault, kids love him!
I bet there won't be a bucket hat available for sale in Swindon over the next week!

More than sheff Utd and charlton L1 playoffs. What do you think the increased support is? More young fans? No Power? Affect of missing games due to COVID?

I think it's the feelgood factor since Power left. We feel like a club on the up, I guess similar to when Reading got their new ground and suddenly found an extra 10-15k supporters.

Obviously the new sprawling housing estates around Swindon have also brought in new support amongst the younger population.

For the first time in 32 years following this club, I'm thinking we need a bigger ground.

So disappointed.  But also impressed.  Bitter/sweet.

The population of the Town has grown rapidly with lots of new families moving into the area.

I haven't been to Swindon for probably 20 years but its urban sprawl was in full flight then, not sure what has happened now that is any different.

Without doubt the feel good factor has returned, unbelievable support this season.
Definitely noted more families which is really encouraging, the hardcore away following incredible.

Dare I say need a bigger ground.

I guess you would be surprised how heavily populated the Town has become since your last visit and how many new houses have been built which brings in new families etc. Maybe I'm wrong and there is no connection!

Just as well we're planning to develop it isn't it. Putting a decent stand where the TE is alone should get us to 18k. That would do us For the time being.

At Walsall I noticed a lot more children / families than at previous away games, which is good for the longer term future hopefully.

The club are being very quiet on the ticket situation. I guess some who queued and didn't get tickets are a little pissed off.
