For all the attendance and ticket willy waving we're similar sized clubs.

Already bored of all the background noise - just want that win.
They really arent, they have never had near our level of support and have never even been in the Premier League. Without history they may as well be Crawley or MKD.

Sell out 3k no way they would sell that

Everything about that club is plastic

For interest, this is Port Vale's away followings this season

1,106   Sat   Northampton
   450   Sat   Stevenage
   420   Sat   Forest Green
   233   Sat   Swindon
   510   Sat   Scunthorpe
   576   Sat   Sutton United
   734   Tue   Mansfield Town
   389   Sat   Crawley Town
1,973   Sat   Oldham Ath
   245   Tue   Bristol Rovers
   340   Sat   Newport County
   644   Sat   Leyton Orient
   240   Tue   Carlisle Utd
1,286   Sat   Tranmere Rovers
   740   Tue   Rochdale
   405   Tue   Harrogate Town
   330   Sat   Colchester Utd
   734   Sat   Bradford City
   575   Sat   Barrow
1,220   Tue   Salford City
   671   Fri   Hartlepool United
2,245   Sat   Walsall

Ifollow has it's moments and sometimes it doesn't work but I think as you say 99% of the time it works like a dream. If you are watching live football be warned it's about 30 seconds or so behind live so if you don't want to know the score, look away from your phone.

So, their lowest away following of the entire season - both Saturday and midweek - is when they played us on a Saturday.

So their lowest following was at Swindon, a meagre 233 on a Saturday. Even less reason to give them any more than a very generous 1,200 then.

EDIT: beaten to it by Aud!

I don't know the logistics and the next statement may be false but I THINK you can watch on your phone somehow, Shrivvy might be able to confirm?

It’s a fair point but let’s be honest - every single team in the EFL is going to sell more away tickets for a play off game than the league game.

I mean we’ve played Port Vale countless times over the years, so I can see why the trip for the league game would be unappealing & the play offs being much more appealing.

How many did we take at theirs in the league this season? I'm sure we'd settle for over 5 times the amount we brought in the league like they're getting.

703 managed to find it.

5x allocation for play offs then. 1,165 for them, 3515 for us.
