I just hope we get behind the team from the off, I think the atmosphere surprised FGR on Tuesday and it certainly raised the players.

More of the same please.

Agreed, I'm off to the pub earlier to help that  Smiley

Town End sold out. Shame there's going to be around a 1000 empty seats in the away section

not we can do about that except make it as intimidating for their players as possible

Last time I was on the Bank was for Burnley in 96, 0-0 if I remember.
Had a season ticket for the DRS at the time but the pull of the Bank was still strong.
Started out on the SB and many good memories & a fair few soakings as well, before having to relocate to the Shrivvy Road.

That'll be the Stockport highlights I posted earlier, last game of the season?

Whereas FGR make it intimate for opposition players at the New Lawn.

They opened the bank for the Burnley game as well, as a win would have seen us promoted.
It was quite short notice I think, so not that many fans on the bank that night.

Too many to mention with Wolves at home in the league cup semi final in 1980 and Gillingham in the play offs in 1987 two that spring to mind😀
My first memory was playing Derby in the early to mid 70's in the Texaco Cup

I hated watching games from the Bank, when the sun is out you can't see the goal at the Town End if its bright unless you wear a hat or sunglasses.

On the plus side, you can get a suntan if its warm enough!

Down to single seats in the Arkells now too, so that is virtually sold out as well.

Stratton Bank could be near full by kick off. Wonder if they've been making Barrow buy in the very far block in case they need a few extra seats in the away end on the near side or below. Can't imagine would cause any bother.

Mine too. Couldn't get in the Shrivvy Road stand where I had always gone previously...something to do with Nationwide taking up a huge allocation of tickets for employees?

I remember going on the Bank with my Dad during the 4th Division Champoins season, one game, can't remember which one, for some reason I had the money and was meant to pay for my old man as we went through the turnstiles I didn't  and just paid for me. Wondered over to our usual barrier and sat down on the terrace and started to read the programme, wondered where Dad was but thought he had gone for a piss or something. About 10 minutes later a copper comes over and says "Are you Dan, you left your dad outside without any money"
He wasn't best pleased with me, Dad that is, the copper thought it was hysterical.
Also remember the Lou Macros Red and White Army chant going between the Town End and The Bank that season.
