Lovely day for it. Just installed in The Savoy and beers are on the way.
First Town game in a week. Hope those that have been away for a little longer have a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change? Crap!

First post-covid beers for me. Think a spot in the sun outside the glue pot will do nicely. Three points please Town. Have a great day all.

In all games between Swindon and Newport over the years Swindon have come away with 42 wins from the 96 games with Newport winning 30 and 22 ending as a draw.
In the 45 home games vs Newport we have won a decent 27 of them and only losing 6 times with 12 ending as a draw, Swindon scoring 108 goals and conceding just 45.
Swindons biggest win was an 8-0 win back in 1938 we have also had a 7-1 win in 1953, we have scored 5 goals against them 4 times and bagged 4 goals in another 4 occassions.
Our biggest home defeat by them was a 0-2 in 2019.
Newport have only came away with all the points at the CG twice since 1955a total of 17 games, the 2-0 defeat in 2019 and a 1-0 defeat in 2017. Swindon have won 11 of those 17 and 4 ending as a draw, Swindon scoring 29 goals and conceding 11 times.
The last 17 home games vs the Exiles ending WWWWWWDDWDDWLWWLW.
Since Newport returned to the league we have played 11 times home and away with Swindon winning 5 times, 2 drawn and 4 defeats, so pretty even. At the CG since their return to the league Swindon have won 3 and lost 2 of the games.

Do we have any idea of possible line up. McKirdy available? Reed straight back in? JOB fit?

Not a defensive bone in the body of any of the three midfielders.
A few games back didn’t Reed make a crunching tackle in midfield that led to a goal?

Recent form aside, I'm not a fan of a Baudry / Conroy CB pairing. It has frailty and a lack of pace written all over it

I agree but difficult to drop a defence that kept a clean sheet (however luckily) last week would be a little harsh.
