Yet we're known as Swindle. Over spending by £10 million a year for a few decades is cheating, no matter how they try to dress it up.

So is going bust in 1982 and not facing any extra relegation, but they got away with it.

Brentford owner has put in £104M to get them into the Premier League including a new ground which is about half what Stephen Lansdown has put into Bristol City.

Just goes to show it's how you spend it and recruit that makes the difference. Still City fans will be saying they are a bigger club than Brentford.

I would say Bristol City are a bigger club then Brentford. Then again I would say Sunderland are a bigger club then both Brentford and Bristol City.
