Garner:
- Proud
- Defence set up well
- Couple of mistakes
- Great goal
- Should have had penalty
- Nice to play Man City
- Worked on 2 ways to avoid press. Didn't clip it longer
- Been interesting if we had the penalty
- Great experience for the players
- A few in there that may play in the Premier league

But then Garner though that every goal Cobblers scored on Sat was offside..  He does see things that just aren't there quite regularly

He was the same after the Barrow game when he said multiple decisions went against Town.

77% possession and only 9 shots on target? Fuck me that's not good.

Yeah, Garner might be the most one eyed manager we've had when it comes to refereeing decisions, he reckons we're hard done by every single week. It's not a particularly endearing trait.

Thought we were poor first half (in context), but so much better after the break.

Really enjoyed it and we weren't disgraced at all

how fucking brilliant was it mckirdy bagged, then we got a free kick on the edge of the box ..

Think they chose the wrong place to put Ashley Cole

that all depends on your perspective.

I think it was a brilliant place to put him

I am fairly certain that had something to do with them being in first gear and playing with us, a bit like a cat with a near dead mouse.

Quite an enjoyable evening, expected to get beat and we weren't embarrassed which we should take solace from. To have the penalty save and McKirdy's goal at least gave us something to cheer about.

Hard to pick fault when the opposition were just purely so much better than us, but trying to play it out from the back in the first half lead to the two goals. The second you could see coming from a mile away.

I thought Hunt had a really good game, actually got close and stuck the boot in a few times. KKH was probably the standout though. Gabriel Jesus is a hell of a player, ok KKH got beat a couple of times but I thought he played very well.

Spotted a few of you lot (was sat not far from Batch) but didn't get the chance to say hello.

Oh, and yes Palmer is certainly a talent, but doesn't appear to have a right foot.
