No need to analyse the game, much as expected and the fuss around the game just goes to prove the saying - we won't be playing teams like this in League Two this season.

I thought KKH, Hunt, Lyden, Simpson (although a little over eager) and McKirdy did very well.  Williams looked lively when he came on.

Bank the money, shrug the game off and focus on the real challenge in front of us.  Hopefully a few quid in the coffers allows us to bring a couple of new faces in.  We need strengthening down the left and a forward, proper one (not knocking Simpson).

Enjoyable to watch that - apart from the 2 defensive cock ups..

Their first and last goals - class and no complaints - Palmer best player on the pitch

Ward good shot stopper. Poor with his feet.
KKH MotM. Defended very well
Conroy. Tried to be Hoddle.
Odimayo. Surprised he was subbed.
Hunt did well
Iandolo. Only beaten for 2 goals.
Reed harried but isn't a 1 man midfield
Gladwin offered nothing
McKirdy scored! Ran his socks off
Simpson ran himself into the ground
Someone else? Obviously didn't do much (Actually, it was Lyden who played pretty well closing people down)

Subs:
Parsons. Tried hard
Williams didn't look fit. Good run and pass for the goal
Dabre comedy run around
East didn't get a touch did he?
Crichlow did OK. Shame his header went into Townend

I'm not sure there is much up top for Palmer based on the interview though :-)  Maybe it helps, just soaks up the coaching with all the spare space there.

Palmer > Grealish

Also less intelligent then Grealish as well judging by his interview.

Palmer > Grealish

Hmmm, you might be stretching it a bit there, at the moment..  in the future, maybe

Overall kept it respectable and players gave a good account of themselves. Only disappointment was way we conceded, doubly frustrating as we stopped the short nonsense second half so we didn’t need to do it.

Not much.  One line was something like "coach told me to stay wide, so I did".  Insightful.

You think Lyden was shit? Wow
No, no, no. I realised who I forgot!

Lyden was excellent in the first half and tried hard in the second.
