The Chelsea game a few years back only got to 21 pages, and only six before the match. Clearly this one caught the imagination more (or internet flight trackers have got better...)

Edit: Reading through it, most of that was arguing about goal music. Plus ca change...

Au contraire.  28 pages of pre-match guff = sleeping giant.  We're massive.

I've received visual confirmation that there are half and half scarves currently available for purchase in Swindon. Sad times.

I think any major footballing event featuring STFC - the Chelsea game - was tempered by the knowledge that any benefit to the club would not make it passed Power’s pocket  - ditto transfer fees etc.

With the club being transparent in the extreme, people can see the £350,000 we get from this game will have a genuine positive effect on the club. We have ‘invested’ in the whole concept of supporting a football club again - and I don’t just mean financially.

I just had a peruse myself and some of the posters were clearly ahead of their time suggesting we use the Senses working overtime song for our goal music.

'Interesting' to see a young Kevin De Bruyne in the Chelsea line-up. I wonder if he'll play any minutes tonight.

With 6 hours to go, it’s started snowing here in Bath. It’s coming up from the southwest and Wales.

He is definately the one that makes us tick in midfield/attack.

I seem to recall he didn't get many minutes that night. Didn't he suffer quite a nasty knee injury?

Anyone going down to the CG today for tickets - they are not allowing anyone to park in the car park, stewards are turning everyone away, so you have to go and find somewhere else to park up in the side streets.

Programmes are £5 also rather than the usual £3.50 (I think its a cup final edition !)

£3…
