Hopefully no FAC bans from Villa, Huddersfield or Ipswich.
They wont stop us playing them as Simpson, KKH and Crichlow have all played for us in the FA cup already.

Ipswich are out of the Cup so it’s no difference to them.

5 subs for this game which is going to help City win the battle of the benches. Cowmeadow vs Cancelo anyone?

As will the no replay rule. As if there wasn't enough stacked against us.  Crying

From their forum. Not sure where he got his info from, though!

‘Big side physically ……Kayky will get eaten alive !
Front 3 of Grealish / Palmer / Jesus
Swindon hoping we play lots of youngsters as they fancy their chances against such a team.
Their defence is weak point, but midfield and forwards are handy. Don’t underestimate them….’

Well they’re spot on with the defence.

We actually are a fairly big side, certainly compared to many teams even though we don't immediatetly look it.

Ward, Conroy, Crichlow, Simpson, Iandolo, Baudry, Wollacott, Gladwin, Gilbert, Odimayo, Lyden are all 6 foot or more.

The other end Reed, Payne, JML, Hunt and Williams are all under the 5 foot 8ish average.

Not too sure about the "physical" side of our game though!

One thing is for sure, we start using any weight or height advantage, you know what’s going to happen.

Simpson has a real opportunity to do just that v what is likely to be an u21s defence

Another interesting snippet from bluemoon:

Quote
Forward Tyreece Simpson 19 (on loan from Ipswich) is a Man City fan, he was in & against my Sons various youth teams from the Gt Yarmouth area from the age of 8 to 16.
Clearly strong & quick I would have said you were mad if any of those players were to have played a competitive game against City, good luck to the boy (he's a fine lad), just not Friday.

I can confirm he is indeed a big man.

Edit: but not like THAT

Edit 2: although he might be. I wouldn’t know. I’m going to shut up now

Quite a few on their forum disagree, saying it's not really Pep's style. They're only expecting 2, possibly 3 youth teamers.
