Quiz question for today: Who remembers the name of the Saddlers’ old ground before the Bescot?

Fellows Park

Well done Audrey. You win a free ticket to the game, which was helpfully delivered to me in Paris this morning.  Roll Eyes

Fellows Park was a proper old school ramshackle missmatch of stands.

Thats not good that you couldn't make it over here for the game as planned mate.

Quite ironic though that a man in Paris offering a man in Greece a ticket for a game in the Black Country!

Can’t imagine either of us would have got our visas anyway. And while we’re at it, does anyone want a ticket to New Model Army at the Roundhouse in London tomorrow night? #feckinvirus #brokendreams

Since Walsall moved to the Bescot in 1990 Swindon have won there 4 times, drew 5 times and lost 4 times, scoring 18 times and conceding 15 times.

In our last 10 visits Swindon have won 4 and drawn 4 with us losing just twice, scoring 16 goals and conceding 10 times.

Our biggest win came there on Boxing Day 2014 with a 4-1 win in the snow with 1,204 Town fans making the trip.

If there’s a sniff of a bit of glory hunting come the 3rd round, I’ll give it a try. Still got my EasyJet vouchers from 2019.

Hale is ok but he seems to be ultra negative at times, still not as negative as Dave Hockaday!
