Can someone tell me who the old guy with a ponytail on the papa John’s commercials is? I assume he was a player?

I think you may mean Jimmy Bullard. Yes he was a top level player, not a particularly gifted player but had a bit of talent and a high workrate. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Bullard

Jimmy Bullard. Kind of like an older, more irritating Harry McKirdy. Ex Wigan Athletic footballer when they were in the Premier league. Now works on TV generally acting like a prick.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise, the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

Very nearly a nice move by Town there.

First home game for weeks, under the lights, crowd will be north of 8k again. We drop more points and Saturday's crowd might suffer, mind... but we won't. 3-0.
Doesn't look that many of TV. Sparse looking crowd. Lively start, though.

I have heard there are many still outside at KO, probably 300+ due to the inadequate ticket entry.
