I knew something was bothering me about Scott Kashket on Saturday, just realised we were linked with him briefly at the start of the season, probably already mentioned at some point during the match.

Does anyone know what exactly is going wrong at Crewe? Is there anything quite as obvious as our Lee Power debacle? Or is it just a case of things not working, wrong signings, poor management etc?
They are the archetypal cyclical club. They have a good crop of youngsters, get promoted, sell them, get relegated, fanny around for a few seasons until another decent crop come along. Rinse and repeat.

Nowt wrong with that if all concerned accept how things are and will be.

Spurs away would be nice.

See their new ground and test out the breweries inside...

As Audrey stated, they pretty much rely as a business on their academy system. They often have a crop of players that will take them up from league 1 to league 2 and then get sold on for decent money. This crop they have lost 5 or 6 players. Kirk, Wintle, Dale, Pg, Pickering spring to mind. They are then replaced by freebies who aren't up to much cop. They then get relegated back to league 2 and tread water until the next batch of talented players come from the academy. League 1 is pretty much their ceiling really.

Excellent and some superb away attendances there. Oldham 635 and Crewe 735 in the FA Cup is a strong effort all round!

It’s actually a little bit better than that as we also won our last away game last season - 3-4 at Wigan.
