I didn't think that was down to him. Thought it was Crichlow's fault for rushing forward

You just need to understand, they think Iandolo is a shit defender after that the comments make more sense.

Agree with much of what's been said.

So frustrating watching us do just about everything so far this afternoon except put the ball in the net.

Can't help but feel a Doyle or a Yates would have bagged one or two in that first half - we just seem a little clueless when it comes to that killer moment after all the build up play.

Still optimistic for the second half -  COYR

We have so many attacking players who won’t shoot.

I quite like Simpson, but it doesn’t seem fair that we rely totally on him to score
Absolutely this.

I honestly don’t think Garner has any tactics as such. His philosophy seems to be ‘keep the ball and it will come’.

Fantasy nonsense.

Multiple players can take blame, the question is whether they are a positive or negative for the team on balance of their good and bad.  Their player did well to pull Crichlow forward and he ended up in no mans land as a result.  However, Iandolo got beat by that same pass three times and you have three central defenders for a reason.  Pitman is not mobile so the other two should be able to cover over.  The move in isolation is good and the defence fails as a unit.  Iandolo goes on to get caught two more times by the same ball, just the others do a better job of cleaning it up/holding a line.

They are both the type of player we lack - both would rather miss three in a game than risk not scoring.  Complete opposite approach to our current crop.  McKirdy is probably the only one I have seen who has it in him to waste a bunch of chances.  Gladwin can do it, but is a faint outline of his past self.

At least we are creating polenty of chances today. I reckon we've got a goal in us.

Get McKirdy on and go 2 up front - might as well lose by 2 having a go..

So do I, I think if we get McKirdy on he will score 100%.

BTW, it's not anger/being down on the team from me.  It's the frustration of seeing we are just a couple of things away from being a very good team but knowing the boss probably sees it differently.  Not changing my view on how the season could go either - we'll probably bob around 10th, up and down around that level.  I really hope we find that missing piece in January.

Sadly, attacking players doesn't mean strikers, even if our manager seems to think it does.

Foul given against Crich, weakly, free kick towards the corner flag.
